Following the family meeting..

We've decided to not bother with an extension on our lease and leave the country as planned, do a cycle in Denmark in the summer while taking DHEA.  The Danish hospital thinks I should do a micro ivf, pretty much the same as the clinic in NY.  All of sudden we have so much on our plate, on top of this IF crap, eh! >;(

    This is very exciting news! I am sure you are overwhelemed, but I hope you are also excited! What all does the micro IVF entail? Is it like 'natural' IVF where they do the transfer at the same time you ovulate on your own!? How long will you be there?! Looking forward to a big update!

    Thanks K, we are overwhelmed in many aspects, needless to say. I prefer to follow one treatment plan, but Micro-IVF (IVF with less stimulation which will result smaller quantity of eggs, but usually better quality, and, less expensive) is one thing that I haven't tried. We are going to be in Denmark for the week of retrieval and transfer, rest of the monitoring work can be done by the local lab in France. We will be going for our first consultation in May, I feel like a needle in a haystack! 0_0
